OTHELLO metal spiral wound gasket is formed by superposition of V shape or W shape stainless steel strip and non-metal filling material, spiral wounding, and point welding of the starting and ending parts. It has an excellent resilience capacity and is suitable for the sealing part with quick changing of temperature and pressure. It is the stationary sealing member of the flange joint of pipeline, valve, pump, heat exchanger, tower, manhole, and hand hole. It is widely used in industries of petroleum, mechanism, electric power, metallurgy, shipbuilding, pharmacy, atomic energy, and space navigation. We manufacture it according the standards of ANSI, API, DIN, JIS, JPI, BS and so on or according to the specific indication of demand of customers. The working pressure is less than or equal to 25Mpa.
If the gasket is used in the heat exchanger, we recommend the gasket with the ¦Õ3.2m stainless steel thread inner ring. The narrow material is steel strip. The narrow type is divided into pasting type and covering type.
